About me
I work as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow for the REMINDER project. I obtained a Ph.D. in Electronic Science and Technology from the School of Information Science and Technology at Fudan University, Shanghai, China, in January 2024. The main theme of my doctoral research was Edge-Assisted Cybersecurity for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Previously, I received BSc and MSc degrees in Electrical Engineering from the HITEC University, Taxila, Pakistan, in 2013 and 2018, respectively. In addition to my academic pursuits, I have also gained practical experience as a cybersecurity researcher at Edinburgh Napier University, UK, and Prince Sultan University, Saudi Arabia. I regularly serve as an invited reviewer for numerous world-leading journals, including Elsevier Journal of Industrial Information Integration, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, and IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics.
